Art Education Program An instructor from Museo Art Academy will be conducting a series of art classes at Snoqualmie Elementary this year. Students will work with a variety of materials such as watercolor, oil pastel, colored pencil, marker and chalk pastel as they learn about the elements of art and principles of design. Projects with each medium will vary per grade level. Museo Art Academy offers a variety of camps, workshops and weekly classes for all ages; each customized to meet the National Standards for Arts Education. In addition to this they host birthday parties, field trips and monthly Pizza & Picasso Night evens for kids in their Front Street studio in historical downtown Issaquah. A Note from Marci Knutsen, founder and director of Museo Art Academy: Art is subjective and extremely personal. There is no "right way" to create it or experience it, but rather endless opportunity for discovery. Art moves us. It can be incredibly beautiful and quite disturbing. Most importantly of all, it can make us open our eyes to the world as it relates to others. One does not need to decide whether he "likes" it or not; just consider it.
